A digital studio built around delivery

BBI Digital Studio is a web, mobile, design, and AI team working with businesses in Kazakhstan and the wider region. This page covers who we are, how we are organized, and the standards we hold when we write and build.

Five disciplines on one thread

Design, engineering, and consulting sit in the same team. That shape comes from the work: a store needs design and backend, an app needs interface work and an API. Keeping them together shortens the distance between a decision and its consequences.

What kind of studio we are

We take on full-cycle work. A project usually arrives with more than one problem inside it, so the same team carries the design decision and the code that answers it. Nothing gets handed to a stranger between the brief and the release.

How the team is organized

Projects run with a lead who coordinates design, engineering, and QA, and who is your single point of contact. Specialists join as the work requires: a UX designer, a backend engineer, a mobile developer, and a DevOps hand for infrastructure. You meet the people on your project early, before the build starts, not after the contract is signed.

The team scales with the project. You will know the roles assigned to your work and who holds them, so there is no guessing about who answers a question about scope, cost, or timeline.

Where we work

Our base is in Kazakhstan, with clients across the region and remote collaboration as the norm. We work in English and Russian, and schedule reviews around your working hours rather than ours.

For companies that already run an in-house team, we can operate inside your tools and your process instead of asking you to adopt ours. That keeps handovers short and your existing routines intact.

How we make technical decisions

We choose established technology when it fits and newer tools when they solve a real problem. The test is maintenance: can another engineer pick this up in a year, and will the stack still be supported then?

For AI work, the test is whether the system improves a specific workflow and can be checked against real data before it reaches production. We would rather ship a small model doing one job well than a broad assistant nobody trusts with a decision. If a simple script does the job, we say so.

Maintenance first

Every stack decision is judged by the person who inherits it. We write down why a choice was made, so a future engineer can reverse it without guessing.

AI with a check

Before an AI feature reaches production, it is tested against your own data on the workflow it is meant to improve. If the check cannot be run, the feature does not ship.

Editorial standards

The writing on this site follows the same rule as our client work: specific over impressive. We do not publish invented metrics, fake reviews, or before-and-after claims we cannot evidence. When we describe a project, we describe the constraint and the decision behind it.

Constraint over adjective

A project description names the limit we worked inside and the tradeoff we accepted. If a sentence could be copied onto any other studio site unchanged, it gets cut.

Evidence or silence

When we cannot state something concretely, we leave it out. That applies to performance claims, adoption numbers, and any outcome that depends on a market we do not control.

Plain language

Technical terms get explained where they are used. If a reader needs a glossary to follow a page, the page is wrong, not the reader.

Client data and confidentiality

Client work stays confidential by default. Case descriptions are published only with permission, and we can present a project under NDA by describing the problem and approach without naming the client or exposing data. Access to client systems is limited to the people on that project.

What we don't do

  • We do not take projects where the only goal is a quick visual refresh with no plan for maintenance.

  • We do not recommend AI where a simple script does the job.

  • We do not promise outcomes we cannot control, such as a fixed number of signups or sales. Those depend on your market and your offer, not on the code alone.

Working with us long term

Many clients start with one project and continue with support, a next phase, or additional products. That continuity is useful on both sides: we know the system, and you do not have to re-explain your business every time.

If you prefer a single engagement and a clean handover, that works too. We document the build, the decisions, and the open questions, so your next engineer starts from a written record rather than a call with us.

Questions we get before a first call

A short set of answers about the team, confidentiality, and where we are based. If your question is not here, the contact page is the fastest route to an answer.

Start a project brief
How large is the team?

The team scales with the project. You will know the people assigned to your work and their roles before the build starts, so there is no ambiguity about who is doing what.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, and we can describe past work under NDA without naming the client. We will agree on what can be said publicly before anything is published.

Where are you based?

In Kazakhstan, working with clients across the region and remotely. Reviews are scheduled around your working hours, and we work in English and Russian.

Can you work inside our existing process?

Yes. If you already have an in-house team, we can operate inside your tools, your ticketing, and your review rhythm rather than asking you to adopt ours.

If the standards here match how you work

Bring a project, a problem, or a system that needs a second opinion. The first conversation is about scope and constraints, and it does not commit you to a build.
